Recent roles include Carlota, in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the United States of America. She is an actress, singer and comedian. She became famous for her stint as a star on the NBC Sketch Comedy series Saturday Night Live. Since then, she has appeared in sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and Mean Girls. Gasteyer started out as a singing student in the vocal department at Northwestern University, and later decided to focus on studies in theater after joining the improv troupe on campus. And that spirit has followed her through several supporting roles, like the overly controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the quirky Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. All of this has led up the premiere of American Auto, the NBC sitcom that finally offers Ana Gasteyer the starring role she's always wanted.
